The long awaited Spider version of the alfa Romeo's Zagato-bodied SZ will not be sold in the UK. The pretty hand built convertible won't be imported by Alfa GB because, it claims, the recession means very few will be sold. It goes on sale on the Continent later this year, possibly badged RZ- which stands for 'Roadster Zagato'. But the company says it will do all it can to help enthusiasts who want to personally import the new model, which makes its debut at this month's Paris Motor Show from the Continent. A spokesman has hinted that UK dealers will be able to obtain spares and service the car, whose 3 litre V6 is identical to the SZ Coupe's. |
